HELP I got pink eye and school starts tomorrow??!?

ok say yesterday i was at the water park with a few of friends and one of them had pink eye a few days ago we were all sharing candy and i have this desease or watever were i pull out my eyelashes so my hands r always touching my eyes so i woke up this morning a 1 eye is bright red! wat do i do for pink eye? and school starts tomorrow so do you have any quick fixes?

There are no quick fixes for pink eye.  You need to see your doctor.

Pink eye, also called conjunctivitis, can show up when you least expect it, and it is very contagious. There is more than one type of pink eye, and how you treat it depends on the type. If it is bacterial you need antibiotic ointment or drops. There is no particular treatment for viral pink eye. If it is an allergy that is causing your difficulty you may need anti-inflammatory medication or antihistamines. Frequent hand washing is crucial to prevent spreading the virus or bacteria, depending on which type you have.   There is also something called CLARE, or contact lens induced acute red eye. Sleeping in contacts makes the eye more susceptible to inflammation/infection.

You will need to go to the doctor for medication.  If the school knows that you have pink eye in a contagious stage, they will send you home.  Drops or other meds from a doctors prescription are the only thing that cure pink eye.  There are no quick fixes.  Wash your hands with soap and hot water often and try not to touch your face....

Go to the Doctor and get a prescription for eye drops. Do not go to school with pink eye or else you may spread it to others. The drops will make your eyes much better in a day or two and by the end of the week the infection will be gone.
