HELP! I have a virus! Possibly because of a Morrowind Mod!!!?

I have a computer virus! Whenever I click on a link, I get a pop-up! I just upgraded my computer, and the speed increase was noticeable.I have a game, Morrowind. But I downloaded two mods, vibrant morrowind 3.0, and Fair Magicka Regenerator. It worked fine for a while. But when I was booting my computer up, it took forever! Now whenever I click on a link, I get a pop-up ad. I ran both Ad-Aware and Norton Antivirus, but nothing worked. I ran a scan on the downloaded files, but nothing weird there. I tried a full system scan, but it didn't work.

By the way, most of the ads were for Registrydoctor. But I just got one for fubar.com.

Please help.

See if you can download trend micro anti-virus, because so far it has been the best thing for me since sliced bread. If you can or can't do that the next thing you should do is boot in safe mode (press f8 repeatedly at start-up) and then run your virus scan, it shouldn't be inhibited now. Also check your background tasks for anything you haven't seen before, don't end the process until you check it out at this website, search for the background task to find out what it does first.

Also on your Ad-aware and Norton you should have a pop-up setting.
