Do any of the Royal Mail services apply? - or other postal companys - couriers seem so expensive. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks, Chris

  1. just wanted to add, that i have paid as little as £40 getting a rocking horse delivered from down south to up north this way!

  2. www.shiply.com is the website. One thing that i find helpful is to put on the advert that the horse will need handling with care, and also tied to side of van, to prevent movement and possible damage, especially if it is an old antique one. Most of the couriers will have blankets to wrap the horses in, during transit.

  3. Hello, advertise it on shiply couriers service. If you tap in shipley couriers you should see a link in google, click on this and it will take you on to the shiply site, all you have to do is put on an advert with the approx size of horse the postcode where it is to be picked up from and the delivery adress. You will get quotes from various couriers, check out there feedback and fire ahead! If you are flexible with pick up and delivery and also dont be to eaget to take the first quote as the longer you leave it the better the quotes get! Another site is freight alert. Hope this helps! I get horses picked up al the time this way!
