HELP! I need a digital camera with a remote!?

Question

I cant find a digital camera with a remote anywhere. only camcorders. I need a digital camera that is under $200 with a remote so i dont have to touch the camera to take a picture. Im trying to make stop motion films and its alot easier that way.

No need to buy a camera that comes with a remote, especially since ones that come with remote controls are usually more expensive (Olympus Stylus 300, $399).

However, almost all digital SLR camera makers sell additional props that fit the exact model you have, like remotes with a long wire you plug into the camera to release the shutter from far away, or even wireless ones using infrared to communicate with your camera from far a way.  If you already have a digital camera, try this site, where I bought mine:  www.bhphotovideo.com and search "digital camera remote control," then find your camera brand on the right.  Each product lists the camera(s) that its compatible with.
