I am going to Spain to stay with a family there for two weeks and I need ideas of things that I can get them as gifts! Does anyone know of anything that they can't get in Spain that we can in the US? Or any ideas of what they might enjoy? HELP??

  1. try an American football.. they don't know what it is! only in America!

  2. a gift basket....

  3. Buy wine glasses from the Dollar Tree and fill them with candy. You could then give them a bottle of wine too.

  4. An American craft; everything else may be found in Spain as in the USA.

  5. Where in the US do you live?

Get them something you only find in your region...In Ohio, for example, buckeye chocolates would be a great gift. Also, if you live in a major city, a nice book with photographies of the city or something like that would be nice.

If nothing else, you can always get them a box of fine chocolates at the airport...

  6. Levi jeans are expensive there.  Bring some sports jerseys, like from the lakers or the Yankees-really well know teams.

  7. The all American gift basket   the entire United States for the most popular edibles. Chocolates from California, Cheese from Wisconsin, Pennsylvania Candies, Coffee from Illinois, Plus many other delicious foods. Everyone will love this basket!

  8. give them money so they can buy anything.

  9. try a hat of some sort

  10. the best idea is to get them something American.  get them some of your favorite foods--like candy bars and stuff because they're different over there and they can try something new.  also maybe something that says the city that you live in?  go shopping at the airport in your town and find them something.

  12. A green-card. The best gift that you can ever give to them.

  13. give him a kiss fore five min

  14. get them something personalised...

    i dunnoooooo !!

  15. an mp3

  16. Get them something American. When I studied in Spain and stayed with a family, I gave them gift baskets from Marshall Fields (a Chicago institution, which has now been bought by the May (Macy's) Company and soon renamed. It'll be a sad day on State Street come September. But I digress..). It had all kinds of Frango chocolates and coffee goodies in it. Other ideas to consider: maybe a book of photography of the city (if major) or of snapshots of the US, sports (baseball, football) memoriabilia, or if you're a university student maybe some college t-shirts or sweatshirts. :-) Whatever it is make it personal, something that says something about you and where you're from
