HELP! I need a vet, I need to know how much it would cost to get my dogs shoulder fixed? and maybe his back?

I just got my dog, he is mixed with a chihuahua and i believe a rat terrier. My friend gave him to me he is a very hyper dog. Anyways I also have two cats, and one had babies just yesterday. My dog went in to the room today and she attacked him ever since than he hasn't got up except when i brought him outside. But when I pick him up or pet him to hard on his neck and his leg he cries really loud. I know that I need to bring him to the vet, but the only thing is I live 2 hours from the vet. I live on a Native American Reservation and it hard to get into town. Also they don't have emergency walk-ins or anything so I have to wait for 2 to 5 days. So I guess I'm asking what I can do for the pain? Any medication? They don't have pet meds at the store that is here so i need HELP!!! PLEASE!!

Check for a mobile vet in the area?  Or locate a farmer, who may also do some advanced pet care?  There's not much you can do without vet help for internal injuries.

I think ethically vets need to take walk in emergencies during business hours, most vets will take after hours msgs/pages especially if there is no emergency 24hr vet in the area. i would give them a call and see if there may be a message service number on the office line, it's a long shot but may be worth it...

Wow..well you cannot give the dog any medication.Only a vet could prescribe medication.

I would double check to see if there are any other vets in your area.That is pretty messed up that they don't have emergency services for pups in need!
