HELP! I need an opinion!

'm going on vacation in about 2 weeks. I wanted it to be me and my boyfriend because I know things will go smoothly. but, to have some extra cash, we invited 2 more people so we could split costs and it would be cheaper. It's less than 2 weeks until we leave and they have yet to pay. they keep saying they'll have the money but i am not sure they will. Which gets me to my next point, i kind of don't want them to go. Something in my gut tells me they are going to make my vacation miserable. They are my really good friends. But, sometimes they annoy me in just one day, what am I going to do with myself after being with them a whole week? Plus, I kinda wanted a romantic getaway. But, we would get extra cash if we split it 4 ways instead of 2. So, what should I do? Stick it out and have extra money for my vacation? or, should I go with my instinct?

Ditch them and sacrifice on the $$$.

Since you have some time, just tell them you and your partner really NEED this to be a romantic getaway for just the two of you.

Let's just put it this way...your instincts are usually right! And if you save money but they esentially ruin your vacation then you may as well not have gone at all right?? And you don't want to spend the next six months saying "I knew it". You have to decide how much you are willing to risk to save that money. Make a list of pros and cons and see which outweighs which.
