HELP! I need help I called the finance company on my car and they will only differ my payment for one month.?

Now they are telling me they need $620 which I dont have by the end of the week. Dont know what to do dont want to get it repo'd

They are right that they cannot break into your house to repo the car but I'll tell you the honest way will get you farther.  I spent years in the mortgage industry and if you don't avoid them they will be less likely to be aggressive.  But be careful, even if you are not tell them that you are recording the call - They will stay legal that way.  The lies will stop and unfortunately many collectors lie to get you to pay them and intimidate you.  Also let them know your situation and they can work out a deal.  In addition, at the end of the converstion if things did NOT get worked out let them know that you do not want them to call you anymore and legally they can not call you.  It will stop the haressment.  I'd urge you to go onto the Clark Howard website to get the full understanding of this law.

Hide your car.  Park the car in someone's garage until you can make the payment.  It usually takes about 2 months of late payments, before the repo man comes.  But he can not take the car, if you do not have it.  Hide it and tell the repo man, "Another repo man came and took it".
