HELP!!! I need help driving stick!!?

Question

I know how to drive stick but I am not sure of the positions. I haven't a clue where 1st gear is at or 2nd. I have been driving a 1960 Willy Jeep. So far I can't find a printout to display the shifts in my car. HELP ME PEAS!!! The only clue I can give u is that neutral is in the middle.

I find it hard to believe that you know how to drive stick, but don't know where first geer is.  Anyway, 1st will be upper left, 2nd lower left, 3rd upper right, 4th lower right and reverse will either be to the extreme left or right and most likely in the lower position.

Easy way is jump in , put it in gear and see how it feels.....you can tell buy what the jeep is doing.........then write it down in front of you for a week..........try it ,,,you will like it........someday you may have to jump into a strange rig and drive it..........there's only one way...........try it.

If the car has 5 gears the first one should be in the upper left, second right under the first,  3rd should be straight up from neutral, 4 should be right under, and then 5 is on the upper right.  Then reverse would be on the bottom right, right under 5th gear.  If the car has six gears, then the 6th gear would be right under 5th and the reverse would either be all the way to the right and then down or all the way to the left and then down.  And if the car has 4 gears, 1st is upper left, 2nd is lower left, 3rd is upper right and 4th is under.

MOST cars have first gear in the upper left, second in the lower left, third in the upper middle, fourth in the lower middle, fifth in the upper right and Reverse in the lower right.
