HELP! I need ideas for a police wedding theme?

My fiance is a police officer, my father is a officer, and his father is a police officer and we think it would be neat to incorporate the police theme in our wedding.

What about uniform colors? Something with the blues or maybe a navy blue/silver/yellow color pallet? Maybe black dresses for the girls in place of the black hats and belts. White gloves. You could decorate with lights, whistles and stop signs....you could come into the reception to the music from "COPS".

I think it would be fun! Think of the possibilities with handcuffs alone!

Edit: Instead of pocket squares you could have the men wear fake badges, could prob get some cute pics with everyone in policemans hats.

That's a really sweet idea.  Maybe you could do your colors in police colors  (what...blue and gold?)  Get police cake toppers, a police car grooms cake, have the bridal party come in handcuffed together when they are announced, ...

Hi! My fiance is a police officer too! We're not doing a complete theme, but we're doing a few things to pay homage. For instance, we're having the wedding party announced at the reception to "Bad Boys". Also, instead of doing a dollar dance, we're having Derek "arrested" and I'm going to go around and collect his "bail money". It's different, it allows people to continue dancing and it eliminates the whole this-line-is-longer and when-is-this-going-to-end. I think if you want to go with a theme, you could do the navy colors that people are suggesting, and maybe do the place cards as badges or mimic the name tag on the uniform. Maybe put them on tickets? Or make the table names on tickets? And you can take the theme into the night with the handcuffs. ;) Good luck!!! I hope everything turns out great!

Are there any traditions for those in the police force as there are with the Marines? I wouldnt suggest a Police "themed" wedding. What if you have a groomscake that incorporates the police force. I think there are other ways you can give respect and honor to what he does then to theme your wedding in this way.

you could have like flowers in the middles of tables with officer badges sticking out. Then the colors of the wedding could be navy and white. something like that(:
