Question:

HELP!! I need running advise....

I've already started pre-season for field hockey and our coach makes us do a lot of running. It's not that I can't finish the running it's just that we're beinging timed and I'd like to be able to lower my time for a 2-mile. What are some simple running tips that I can do to make me faster without getting anymore tired?

  1. drink water

    eat healthy

    speed = strength + flexibility

    stretch everyday to stay felxible

    strength- run slower, long runs or hit the gym - leg extensions for quads and hamstring  


  2. okay u should breath through ur nose and out of ur mouth eat a good lunch drink plenty of water and stretch. i would take a warm up lap first and then stretch >

  3. allong with breathing in your nose and out your mouth, take longer strides, and pick your legs up off the ground more. Just doing that and running at a steady pace i took 10 seconds off my time. It takse some time to get used to, but is very duable. good luck!
