HELP I need to persuade my parents!!!!?

Since I was born I have grown up with a Cat. She died last year and I'm desperate for another because Im just not used to living without a cat in the house. My Dad wont let me have one but my mum also wants one!!! He doesn't know how we feel!!!!!!!!!!!!! How can I cleverly persuade him to get us one????

Just ask why can't i get another cat? i've had one before and know how to look after one. If that doesn't work just beg or ask your mum to try and persuade him, he might listen more to what she say's more, no affence, lol.

Bring one home while he is not there, and let him know the cat just wandered into your yard/street and isn't he/she so cute?? :)

or, keep the house neat. keep your room clean, do the dishes every night, etc for a few weeks to prove how responsible you are.

I am sure if your mother really wanted one she would have gotten one, trust me she can persuade your father more then you can.

Tell your dad that you could rescue a cat from a shelter so that you could save a helpless animals life and have a great pet.Good luck!

I'm sorry about your kitty :(. When I was born, I came into a house with 3 cats & 3 dogs. Most of them were old, so a few I don't remember. My parents said they couldn't deal with losing anymore so once they were all gone, we wouldn't get anymore. That didn't last for too long. Now we're up to 3 cats & 2 dogs, none of which were around when I was born. So give your dad some time. Bring it up every day. Tell him you miss having a pet & it'd be nice to save one from a shelter. Good luck <3.
