HELP!!!? I really need some help!!!?

Can someone tell me how to persuade someone else into getting the ipod touch when they won't let you because they don't think it's needed! More like a parent who won't let you get it! Please HelP!

It's not that great, and it coast just as much as an i phone except the i phone has the phone. I got mine by paying for half of it.  Try working at a snow ball stand and get some money. Goodluck! :)

the i pod touch IS unnecessary, you'll probably get over having one in a few days, but if you REALLY want one, you should tell your parents you'll help pay for some of it, or tell them you'll pay for it all over time. you could ask them to give it to you as a reward for good grades etc.  but seriously, it is pretty unnecessary.

How about earning the permission instead of trying some

strong arguments. Ask them if there is anything you can do to earn their okay. Maybe if you prove to your parents

that you are responsible they might let you go ahead

and buy the ipod.

well...if your still at the age where you're asking your parents to buy you this stuff, chances are you don't need it. Also, buying the ipod touch is kind of silly with the new iphone out...they're just about the same price and one can be used as a phone, which is obviously much better.

BUT I'll try to help....

I think the best argument to persuade them would be to explain how it's the new technology and all of the new accessories that are coming out will be for the ipod touch. So soon your regular ipod will be totally outdated anyway and all of the accessories you continue to buy for it will be worthless soon. To invest in the new technology is totally the way to go so you're not wasting money on the outdated ipod.

HOWEVER: that's kind of a load a bull. I would honestly wait a little bit until they change the ipod touch. Not a lot of people are buying the ipod touch bc of the iphone, which means you know that they're doing some heavy work trying to make the ipod touch much better than it is now. Chances are, you'll ended up talking your parents into getting you an ipod touch and with in a month you'lll see them come out with a new one that makes yours look like c**p.

As someone who has to pay for everything in my life (but is still young, I'm 23) and love's to have the newest and the best things before everyone! Getting the ipod touch now isn't worth it. You'll end up being disappointed. Wait until they come out with the new one and then get on your parents case.

Whenever I wanted my mom to buy me something, when I brought up how it was 'investing' in future technology and stuff...just the mere fact that I used the term investing and thought about the future with it made her so impressed I got everything I wanted. Try it! (but with the new ipod touch! not the one that's out now)
