HELP! I sent a letter and then later realized it was the wrong address but I didn't include a retn address!!!

There was a rather expensive giftcard in it! Should I go to the post office that I sent it to and see if it was returned there? Does anyone know how to go about this? thanks!

Cancel the giftcard and resend it.  Or maybe your friend could get friendly with his postman and ask him to keep an eye out for mail addressed to him but at the wrong address.

It will be considered undeliverable as addressed and It going to go to the Mail recovery center depending on the state your in and if it's worth less than $10 it's burned daily if not you can call 1800 ask usps and they'll give u the address to that mrc so u can write them and try to retrive this item.

you could mail anoather letter to the address to "resident" and ask that the mail be returned.

you should alsoinclude a larger return envelope with postage.
