  1. Honestly it could be a lot of different things. It could be allergies or even a fungal thing. Take him back to the vet and ask them to do a skin scrape and see if they could figure out what it is. Also it could be due to inactivity if he's on his stomach all the time and what kind of food you're feeding him. Make sure you feed him a good food that doesn't have corn as the main ingredient (NOT Pedigree, Purina One, Dog Chow, Kibbles and Bits, etc). Those will make their skin dry and flaky causing some hair loss.

  2. Is there any red ness?Is his belly sore? Is he laying on cement or grass? It could just be an allergy.Tilks Mom

  3. Could be acne, Which can be common in dogs/puppies or fleas. xx

  4. Like the others said could be allergies. My 2 black labs have allergies & sometimes when they l**k in a certain area the fur wears off. But does grow back. In the past I have given my dogs benadryll to help with the itching. You may wanna check with your vet for the dose, it varies by the weight of the dog. HTH

  5. well i got my first dog his fur was thinning so i took him to vet and got him tested for mange but they also treated him for mange as well just in case and i had to come back a week or 2 later, cant quiet remember well anyway the test came back negative but the his fur grow back after the treatment ,wat the vet said to me sometimes what happens is that sometimes not enough is scrapped or just did not scrape were the mange was well anyway it looked like it was mange as the treatment worked sorry hope this makes sense lol

  6. If the vet doesn't know, then how can we know? You need to find a real vet who takes you seriously and finds out what's wrong with your pet when he is sick.

  7. Has your dog got Flea's? Any plants in the garden he could be allergic to?

  8. Could be allergies.

  9. Could be a food allergy or a enviormental allergy. Many dogs are allergic to certain grasses. Many can have a flea allergy even if on preventive. One bites them and they itch adn hair falls out or they get sores. I would honestly get another opinion from a different vet if this one is not finding out anything to help. many foods can cause this also if they are allergic to them.

  10. If you VET doesn't know then I don't know.
