  1. it's not that hard . keep practicing.

um wat du u mean u cant even rotate in the air? ur coach wouldnt even teach you an axel if u couldnt  at least rotate i circle in the air.

um , when you land ,go deepper on ur knees.

if you could, you might as well practice on ice than off ice. but do the moves slowly off ice, make sure u dont get confussed of what u're suppose to do after u turn or jump or landed.

  2. start spinning a little bit before you jump and use your foot to giive you a boost and then you just land.........

  3. Well first... Congrats on getting to the axel... you are almost done with single jumps

Lots of off ice axels are a good idea. also as long as you are doing it right the harness will help too.

for your axel on ice try to keep your takeoff straight, jump high, and keep your feet somewhat close. Also don't let your arms go crazy. in the air feel like you're doing a double  axel. It will make you rotate better.

As always listen to your coach!!!!!

  4. Hey I landed my axel like 16 times and then 2 days later i lost it!! Just think of pulling in tight and stepping up!!

  5. im working on my axel to and i want it bad to. some exercizes i do off ice are one and a half rotations where you go down down in ur knees and jump and rotate one and half rotations. also knee bends are helpful. on ice do a waltz jump to a backspin and waltz jump loop combo. i hope that helped!

  6. Wanting it this bad is a huge step, but don't be surprised if it takes you up to a year to land it (depending on how often you skate).  You cannot be afraid to fall or it will take longer.

The harness definitely helps!  Practicing off-ice helps as well.
