ok so ealier today i was on itunes without my ipod pluged in and now that i pluged it in it wont come up pluged in or not!

  1. It sounds like something has become corrupt in the iTunes application. Usually the best step to take when software begins to act up or lose functionality is to remove that instance of it and then download and install a new instance. This will either delete or overwrite the corrupted items.
