  1. My kid did.  She hated hs anyway, and had 23 college credits.  So after 11th grade she took 5 distance learning courses through University of Missouri Columbia High School  http://www.cdis.missouri.edu/ , got her college prep hs degree and is entering college this week.  She was real happy with the decision. She still has some friends in her hs, so she figures she'll go to their parties anyway, and to the prom with them next year when they graduate.  The parties in college are better anyway.

  2. yes because you will get a jump on life and anyway you wont see most of you friends after high school anyway so if i were you i would just go for it

  3. You only go around once in life, enjoy yourself.  Which decision would you end up with the least regrets?  Write down the plusses on one side and the minuses on the other, no brainer.

  4. stay in the school, go to the prom, make friends

  5. I would definitely opt for graduating on time with the rest of your class. You really don't want to miss your senior year of high school. I had the option of skipping a grade when I was younger, but my parents refused--and now I can't thank them enough. Senior year was the most fun year of school I've ever had. Why rush past it? Especially if it would only be a difference of a few months, which is basically just one semester.

  6. I would rather graduate with my friends than graduate with strangers.

  7. You should graduate early of the only things holding you in school are parties and friendship./

  8. Go to highschool. School isnt just about an education, in my opinion. You are going to be miserable staying home and not having anyone to hang out with. Senior year especially is the best year of highschool. It was the only year I liked lol

Meeting new people and have fun with your friends definitely outweighs graduating early. Theres no point in graduating early anyways, cause if you are going to college...you start the same time regular high school kids start

  9. Graduating a few months early won't get you into college early. They all start in the fall anyway, so you might as well go back to high school and enjoy your friends and the activities that make the senior year so great.

  10. Go to prom, go to the parties! High school is a BLAST!! Everyone says college is so much better, but not really because you have to deal with the real world! And you pay for your school so you really can't mess around. High school is seriously the funnest time you will have!!! So don't try and cut it short.

  11. don't graduate early, you'll regret not participating in prom, graduation, senior trip....with your class, everyone will reflect back on those memories and you won't have any of them, it will be sad!! it's part of the experience stay on track with your class, I didn't and I regret it

  12. If you've successfully completed High School with acceptable grades and have had a blast in the past with it, then I think it's time to move on my friend. I know how you feel, next year is my senior year, and I might never see my friends again when I go to college. It sounds sad, but you have to keep pushing your education to be successful in life.

  13. NOOOOO!!!! the second i got outta high school i started being treated like an adult, i have only been out for a year and i gotta pay for everything on my own. i had fun in high school. But it depends on your goals, my goal is to finish school and travel so if you have a meaning behind it than go for it, other than that...who wants to grow up too fast.

  14. I wouldn't do it, unless you already know exactly what you want to do with your life after school, and have that all planned out. Otherwise enjoy being young, and the opportunity to experience things, and make memories that will last a lifetime. You don't need to rush, and if you are hesitant you may regret that you didn't stay. ...Hope this helps!!

  15. I would love to have graduated early. However, do you plan on going to college? The higher-up universities aren't too favorable concerning early graduates. It depends on your priorities.. if you want to go to prom and whatnot, then just stay in for a few more months. Good luck.

  16. I graduated early, but I got to go to prom and walk the stage because I graduated early from a public school.  I know I wouldn't want to miss my boring prom (and it was the most boring dance I ever went to) or walking the stage.  These are memories you can't replace.  I didn't party but the new friends and campus life will get you ready for college.  Good luck!
