  1. ok the mother should take care of them.

DO NOT TOUCH THEM! if the mom doesnt have some sort of nest them try to make one or use a blanket to help the mom figure it out but dont touch the babies. call a vet and ask about more. but baby bunnies after like a week when they get fur are absolutley adorable!!!!!!!!! u will die!!!!! they are so fluffy and hop so cute!!!!

you can get much information in this website, stay a minute in website and check anyone link at a time, you can aslo get your answer in Google Search in this website, which has helped me alot

  3. wow. Just stay calm. Ask one of the employees from the pet store you bought it at, and he/she can give you very straightforward answers of how to properly care of baby bunnies.

  4. Ok I have had two rabbits that gave birth. Find a small box like a shoe box. fill it with hay, then sort of create a deep divet in the hay. This is where the babies go. The mother needs hay, food, and water 24/7. Otherwise she can't nurse her babies. There is a small chance that the mother might disown her babies but I have been handling my babies since birth and the mother is fine with it. You can touch them (with a cloth or your bare hands), but keep it to a minimum. Make sure the babies stay in the nest. Check on them a few times in the middle of the night for the first few weeks. Its very likely that there is a runt, and this baby may be kicked out of the nest. You want to keep him inside the nest. One of my babies died because his mother had kicked him out and he got too cold. It's the saddest thing I have ever had to deal with. Trust me, checking on them in the night may be annoying, but it may save a baby bunny's life.

  5. I'm not sure where the "don't touch the babies" saying came from, but it is totally not true. Domestic rabbits are a lot different than wild rabbits. I've been raising them for over seven years and I can tell you with certainty that the mother WILL NOT abandon them if you touch the babies.

I start handling my kits (baby rabbits) for a few minutes every day starting on day one. This is so that I can check them over and make sure they're healthy, but it also helps to socialize them. Please don't take them out of the nest for prolonged periods of time until they open their eyes (between 10 and 12 days old), but minimal handling is perfectly fine and actually SUGGESTED with domestic rabbits.

Next, you do need to make a nest. I suggest using a small cardboard box or shoebox. One that is big enough for the mother rabbit to get in. Fill the bottom with shavings or other soft bedding. Make a fist with your hand and push down in the back of the new nestbox to make a fist-sized indent in the bedding. Fill this with hay and about half the fur that the mother (I'm assuming) has pulled for her babies. Then put the remaining fur on the top. Make sure your rabbit has extra hay in her cage. Once you start this nest for her, she will likely use to extra hay to finish off the nest by herself.

I hope this helps, and good luck with your new babies! Congratulations!

  6. get a box for them  and put them inside  but, make sure the mother rabbit doesn't see you pick them up AND do not touch them with your bare hands get a cloth a pick them up and put them in also get a heating lamb they're sold at pet's smart or other pet stores.

  7. Call a vet...they know best:)
