HELP ME Makeover my room! Please?

I am 14 and I'm moving into my brothers old room. Obviously, I'm redecorating it, and i'd like it to be more mature than my current room, like teenaged mature, but still with a second grade twist. I currently have a lot of stuffed animals surrounding my bed and i'd like to find a new place to put them.

Another thing i'd like is for it to be partly girly, like bright colors etc., but also tomboyish, like mud slatters or something.

I'm on a pretty tight budget cuz i aint rich! lol.

Any ideas?

Thank you for your help!!

O yeah, and i like music. I like to play it and listen to it. I might consider putting cd's on a wall or something like smosh did =).

lol.

  1. Hi,

I think your walls should be a light Orange!

On your cieling you should have those stars that

    glow in the dark!

Bedding: light yellow sheets and a striped yellow,

orange, and pink comforter and a pink pillow!!

Carpet: light brown carpet and a pink and yellow

    flower rug!!

Dresser: a white dresser!! On top a piggy bank and

some other accsessories that you have!!

Bookshelf: I love to Read!! Just have a bunch of books on it and other accsessories!!

    Just add other stuff too!!

    Have a Wonderful day!!

  2. Painting walls bright colors is always fun and reasonably cheap if you do it yourself.  They can be all the same color or different colors.

I used to have a paper chinese parasol (an umbrella would work as well) hanging from the ceiling upside down with my stuffed animals sitting inside looking out.  Got them out of my way.

I used to have CD liner notes on my walls as well, I stretched them out and made a border with them around the top of the room, it looked pretty cool, but  you have to have a lot of CDs to get all the way around the room.

I had a friend who made a border out of tiny magazine clippings collaged together into a border around the walls, I'm sure it was a lot of work but it looked cool.

A cool comforter can add a lot to a room if you have the money for it.
