HELP ME PLEASE! Someone please tell me how to get rid of the odor left from rat and mouse fecal matter?

My soon to be "ex" boyfriend/roommate caused me to get an infestation of mice in the walls of my home. I think I'm rid of the rodents now (all but one of them), but the horrible stench still lingers? Does anyone know the least expensive way to rid my home of the smell????? I'm serious, it is truly horrible!

You have dead critters in your walls and you are smelling the decaying carcasses.

There is a product called SMELLS BE GONE. It is orderless itself, but will help remove the order as it drys. It is safe-I have used it and love it.

You may  have to use 'cover up' smells until the dead mice in the walls dry up,but the Smells-Be-Gone will help the stuff you can actually spray. There are other similar products I don't have their names -Look in The Home Depot -Lowe's etc .

You can start off by scrubbing the house down with Clorox -but don't go too strong it is really hard on lungs and skin.

How did your boyfriend cause you to get an infestation? Only thing i can suggest is ask an exterminator if there is anything you can do.
