  1. When you serve make sure that your puting all of your force into the ball make sure your hand is firm and imagine hitting something that would give you satisfaction on the other side. Make sure your steping into it. Also, when your training to make your serve harder train your stomach muscles as much as your arm muscles.

  2. you should work on your overall arm strength and also work on throwing the ball straight up and practicing swining through the ball and following through will your swing!

  3. 2 handed toss, and bring both arms up, using your dominent arm to hit (cast your hand open) and use the other hand to swing down. Step with your alternate foot (from your hitting arm). Also, it helps to pick  a victim on the floor you're going to serve to. Make sure you get on top of the ball for rotation so it wont land out. Good luck!!!

  4. concentrate on the ball and when you go to hit it use force and you step into the serve.

  5. if u keep hitting it 2 the side, make sure the u r hitting it straight on. if u r hitting it right, then if u should slap ur leg after following through. plus make sure that ur toss isn't all funky.

  6. Jay is right, also make sure you aren't throwing the ball behind you.  That makes it really difficult to step into it b/c you are off balance.  Good luck!

  7. keep your eyes on the ball and hit it over.. practice will help you out making the ball over the net.

  8. well i just got my overhand serve down pat this past volleyball season.  i practice forever and it was so frustrating!!  but all i recommend is that you step into your serve and use your whole body.  put a lot of force into it.  try practicing with a glove on to learn to put more force into it.  good luck!!!

  9. This is for a right handed player but you can switch it if your are lefty.  Start  left foot forward.  Throw the ball with your left hand straight up not too high.   Swing through the ball transferring the weight to your front foot and point your front foot towards your target.  A few practices and you should be good.

  10. You need to practice. All I can think of to help you is:

Throw the ball lightly above your head, step wirh your left foot, and smack it as hard as you can.. Make sure it is forehead length when you serve it though!!! Good Luck!
