  1. umm well i've heard the same things.

and one of my friend's had her teeth whitened with brite smile and she complained about it because they didn't get as white as they said they would and because it didn't last as long as they said either.

but i'm getting my teeth whitened prolly around spring break and i think i'm going to save up for ZOOM whitening. i've heard nothing but good things about it. and it gets them wayyyy whiter than anyother.

but its a tad pricey say around $500?

    best answer??!! :)

    hope i helped

EDIT! you have to get the ZOOM done professionally. you need to prolly search or call around where you live to see if anyone does it.

  2. There is not much difference between a "professional" whitener and home whitening chemical products. They both contain optical whiteners that will make your teeth brighter by removing color spots from them.

Some food like tea, coffee, red wine, beetroot and coke (and a lot of others) contain natural coloring materials that will paint your teeth. If you want long lasting brite teeth, avoid these things as much as you can and brush your teeth often.

Also my dentist said the rapid whitening also loses its effect quickly, the gradual whitening that you do at home day by day for a while has a stronger and longer effect. It's your choice and I am sure your dentist can help with professional advice.

  3. why don't you tell your parents that instead of wasting money on over the counter products that will only work if you constantly use them and have to keep purchasing in the future, they pay for you to go to a dentist and have them done professionally?  but i hear that crest white strips are good, but most of those products are gonna make your teeth really sensitive, and you won't be able to do it every day like it says if your teeth hurt when you breathe or drink or eat.
