OR if you think squished spider gunk is almost as bad as a live spider, use this technique: get a cup and a piece of card, put the cup over the spider, slide the card under the cup and voila, spider is caught without being touched. Then take it outside and throw it away from you with a quick flick of the wrist. Simple, and no jumping around with booms and tissues.

If the spider is too high above you, get a chair, and if that's still too high and you'd rather just kill it, suck it up with the  vacuum cleaner instead.

id get a broom or a big stick and squish him or knock him to a corner then w8 for ur parents

Alright get your vacuum cleaner. Take the removable hose part out but dont attach the brush. Just turn on the vacuum and get on the chair and hold it close and just like that the spider will be gone. No need to mess with sprays or stuff. You sound like my little brother.

well i need to know how big and if you live in the city theres a very high chance that its not life threatning so i would say(judging by the way you wrote the question, it seems that you hate spiders and dont wanna touch them) that you should just take a broom or large object and whack it until its dead then just take a bag or kleenex and throw it out :)

I see you have a fear of spiders, I too have a fear of them!! I have always found something with a long handle so I don't have to get close to it, or if you can get some spray & use it.  It would be best to use spray if you have some, for any future spiders. :)

I would go get a stool and stand up on it with a huge broom and beat the spider up with it and get a tissue and get it.

Raid spider spray, or squish it with a newspaper because if it gets away, you will be creeped out for days not knowing where it is. or even spray it with hairspray or perfume to stun it and then squish it. EWWWW
