  1. no not really

  2. Caroline is a very earthy name....like the mother on 'little house on the prairie".

Depending on what age your character is.  That is a good name for an older woman.  If you want something mature but more modern sounding you could use Nancy, Colleen, Maura, or Deborah.

  3. no.

it's too old fashioned not all midwifes are typically old and look like your granny! you should have a young hip midwife with a name like Keira or Ciara.

  4. Jamie is my partner and Caroline is his evil witch of a mother! So honestly I dislike the name Caroline. When it comes to the female doctor, if its  a story, I think you should for a more feminine name then Jamie :) Your story though :)

  5. How about Irina?

  6. The name makes me think of an older, caring woman.

  7. I think it's a fine name, but when I think of a midwife, I think of someone more 'earthy'.  I don't think Caroline is a very earthy name.  It seems more sophisticated.

How about something more plain like Ann or Beth.

  8. yes :)

    it sounds sweet and motherly.

  9. I like Caroline, but I don't like Jamie for the beautiful female doctor.  It just doesn't seem like an intelligent name or something... can't put my finger on it.

  10. yes it is, the beautiful female doctor should be named Gabrielle :P

  11. yes

  12. Yea! Caroline makes me think of a sweet southern lady.
