  1. just fix the bike for him, no charge

  2. Hmmm...sounds like he might have broken it himself. I would say that's his problem.

  3. Same thing happened to my son! We took it back and fixed it and sold it on again for the same price. This time it stayed working! Pocket bikes are notorious for their 'lawn mower' engines!

You wont have any anger from them if you take it back, and they will be happy with you. Pain for you but better than having aggro  person.

  4. I would tell him that it was running when he bought it, and he broke to chain, so it was his.

  5. If you're sure that it was fine when you sold it to him, I would just say "Sorry!"  If you wanted to show a little mercy, you could buy him a new chain, but I don't think you should be guilted into refunding the money.

  6. give his money back, fix the bike and then sell it again.
