HELP MONTREAL QC -- Best place to stay where I can sneak friends in room? Also needs to be close to nightlife.

My friends birthdays are on the same day and we'd like to get a room in Montreal and enjoy the night scene. We want to go to bars and shop and what not. We were told Rue Ste Catherine was a great place to be around...but there's going to be around 8 of us. We want to stay in the same room...and well...anyone know a good hotel/motel/inn within walking distance that won't be to hard to sneak people into? Most even decent priced will allow only a max of 4 per room. I know it's safety c**p, but we're not concerned with that. Any answers about hotel experiences are helpful!!!

Lol "safety c**p." They won't let you do that in any decent place. Montreal hotel's are not THAT expensive. I really advise you to book two rooms. The best parties are on St Laurent Boulevard, not very far from the intersection at Sherbrooke street, and around Crescent street. Holiday Inn might be a good idea.

How would I know anything about hotels if I live in Montreal?

Don't be so bloody stingy and book two different rooms for goodness' sake!

If "they" only allow 4 guests per room, there must be a d**n good reason for that - don't you think?

Have you tried the Holiday Inn yet?
