I have to straighten my hair all the time and i use quality deep conditioners in my hair so it looks good. after straightening my hair i always want it to curl so im thinking of buying mousse and hot curlers and after straightening my hair putting mousse on my hair then using hot curlers then mousse again. Will that help my hair have medium bouncy curls? and i have to straighten my hair so if the mousse wouldn't work and get my hair back to normal(frizzy)and ruin what the straightner did what should i use???!!!! gel?? i need something that wont make my hair look to greasy HELP!!

  1. well moose after straighting it will turn frizzy trust me ive tried with my friends hair and she got so mad!

  2. I have the same problem. I have naturally frizzy, curly hair. I straighten sometimes and apply mousse other times. You can't do both. It will make your hair look WAY greasy. Just apply a really strong mousse that way it controls frizz but still gives you bouncy curls. If you are unhappy with the way mousse turns out, then rinse your hair and let it dry, then straighten it. Or hot rollers. Only one thing at a time. Just remember, you shouldn't leave mousse in for more than a day or two. At that point, it can be harmful to your hair.

Another way to control frizz is to blow dry your hair ,AFTER you apply mousse, with a diffuser. It will help get those curls.

    Hope all turns out well,

  3. Well, putting mouse on after straighten will only dampen hair and bring it back to its original state.  I would after straightening your hair, use a heat styler like Redken's Fabricate 03 and then set hair in hot rollers take out and spray.  Using hot rollers instead of a curling iron will help the style last longer, because you are curling the hair and then letting it cool completely, which strengthens the hydrogen bond that was created from the heat.  take rollers out and shake hair and you should have smooth sleek bouncy curls.

  4. Try using a curling iron to straighten instead of the actual straightener. Pull it straight all way until the point you want the curl, usually at the end. Or there are straighteners that have a wave shape to it.

  5. I will help you on this one.First of all either straighten or curl your hair.By straightening and then curling you're doing a few things.First you're over heating your hair and causing a lot of unnecessary damage.I had long hair once. For either curl or straight there are many products out there.I can suggest a curling serum while the hair is damp.Work it into the hair and blow dry. Then use the curling iron.Once curled then use a spray to hold it in place.Make sure your hair is totally dry before straightening  or curling to avoid anymore frizzies.Good luck and please try not to do 3-4 steps on your hair unless you want to dry it out and get to much breakage. You probably notice a ton of hair on the floor after all that extra styling.Plus you'll save 45 extra minutes each day buy cutting the extra steps.

  6. i have the same problem as you, but like you should straighten and then curling iron and then hair spray! that's what i did for my prom and it lasted all night, but yeah if that doesn't work, use mousse and gel together after that and scrunch your hair!

    i hoped i help(:
