  1. Hey, get a multiplication table and make cue cards. Start at memorizing the 2's, then 3's and so on.

    Good Luck

  2. you just have to memorize them

except for the 9's. there's a trick for those. hold up your fingers, and put one of them down. say... 9 x 3. you'd put your left middle finger down cause that's the 3rd finger. there are two fingers to the left, and 7 to the right. put it together and you get 27. this goes for all the other numbers from 1-10.

  3. the only way is to memorize. get some flash cards and practice practice practice!

  4. The 9 Times Quickie

Hold your hands in front of you with your fingers spread out.

For 9 X 3 bend your third finger down. (9 X 4 would be the fourth finger etc.)

You have 2 fingers in front of the bent finger and 7 after the bent finger

Thus the answer must be 27

This technique works for the 9 times tables up to 10.

    The 4 Times Quickie

If you know how to double a number, this one is easy.

Simply, double a number and then double it again!

    The 11 Times Rule #1

Take any number to 10 and multiply it by 11.

Multiply 11 by 3 to get 33, multiply 11 by 4 to get 44. Each number to 10 is just duplicated.

    The 11 Times Rule #2

Use this strategy for two digit numbers only.

    Multiply 11 by 18. Jot down 1 and 8 with a space between it. 1 --8.

Add the 8 and the 1 and put that number in the middle: 198

  5. well this is how i do it ...

    8 x 6 =...

(learn ur times tables, read, read and revise then check!!) (tables come in handy) or do on a bit of paper 6 bags of 8 sweets in and count how many sweets altogether..

When multiplying 2 digit number like..

    14x12=

    do 10x10=

    then 10x2=

    then 4x10=

    then 4x2=

then add all the answers together. when multiplying decimal like 2.3 x 2.3 =

do it like 23 x 23  (answer is 529) then you place the decimal point.. think 23 x 23 is more than 5.29 yhs? so it must be 52.9 !! need any more help then go on ...

  10. I would suggest that you first get your multiplication tables and review them. Also, I would suggest you get some flash cards and have someone (even your parents) review them with you. Third, you can search on line for free multiplication games that will help you learn.  Home schooling does not need to be lonely. Have your parents check for some home schooling organizations in your area. They have meetings where the children can get together.  You can also find a good Sunday School Program in your area. Many churches have children's club for your age.  Also, check into the "Y" or the boy/girls clubs in your area they have a lot of programs for children. Another way to make friend is to out in your neighborhood and find someone to play with.  Last thing I would suggest is to talk to your parents and let them know how you feel. I am sure they care alot about you and your education or they would not be home schooling you. May I say do not be so sad. You sound very brite and willing to learn.  If you are this egar to learn you then have the ability to go out and make a friend. Please stop crying and get busy with math and finding a friend.
