HELP My BUDGIE JUST BECAME EVIL!!!!!!!!!!?

i was alright and it would not bigjht me and i was patting it but then i tryed again and it bite me i was wearing gloves so i carried on patting and it bit me again and again

you shouldnt where gloves because it scares them

a bite from a budgie is nothing

it hurts but there are worse bites then from a budgie

like peach faces or cockatiels or cockatoos

now thye put in a good bite and a half

seriously i have been bitten that many times

the way to get it to stop is to let it just bite you

it will then think that its not affecting you and will give up

i use this strategy and i bleed from it but thats from cockatiels

one thing to remember never grab you bird

birds hate being grabed and that is another thing that can cause it to bite you

if you grab a bird it wont trust your hand again

i used to grab my bird when it was a baby

its now 7 years old and it still doesnt trust my hand but its one of the tamest budgies you would ever see

well its most likly the gloves because u where wearing gloves i didnt reconize the smell or the look so thats y it bit u

Gloves can be very frightening to birds, especially if they're not used to them. Your bird probably didn't want to be touched anymore.... and it's probably best if you paid attention to his signals.

It's a mutual respect and trust... that has to be earned by both of you.
