  1. You can buy different party hats (top hats) and give them out as party favors. (You can buy different hats at Oriental Trading or a party store). I would also have fun bow ties which is one of the Mad Hatter's clothing theme. Find the biggest top hat or crown (Queen of Hearts) for your nana to wear. Have different type of appetizers (they could be rolled sandwiches, or finger foods). Serve beverages (ice tea is also a choice)

    Have a few fun family games that have riddles to solve. Since the Mad Hatter did riddles. Play card games (Queen of Heart)

    Send out nice invitations with a riddle/or mad hatter theme on them.


  2. Well, just have everyone wear hats!

    You can make hat-shaped cookies, have a pretty hat piped onto a sheet cake, and use top hats as serving bowls.
