  1. talk to a traffic law attorney, or call the dmv in Texas and they can tell you what to do to get your license back.  You had to have gotten a ticket along the way that you knew about, you may not have known the penalty was a suspension of your license.  I got a ticket two years ago for no insurance, when I went to court I showed proof of insurance, and paid a 380 dollar fine.  I was recently stopped and guess what? I have no drivers license.  The officer told me they don't have to let me know that it was suspended. So I called the DMV I had to send them a notarized statement stating i now live in a new state, and I have insurance.  I got my license reinstated.  I don't know how big of a fine I will have to pay for driving on a suspended in this new city but  I did get proof that it was reinstated.
