Question:

HELP! My cat has a rash in his ear?

It's a reddish scabby raised area (.5 in) and surrounded by a pink area (2 in).

I took him to the vet, he couldn't rule out ringworm but he said it doesn't REALLY look like ringworm. Basically he told me nothing and told me to put some ringworm cream on it for a few weeks and see what happens!

I'm worried about my cat and I am also worried because I have 2 small children that I don't want to get sick from the cat.

  1. Oh my, it would be so much better if your rat had cash in his ear.

Seriously, I do hope that your cat gets better soon.

  4. My little kitten recently had this, take vaseline and rub it on his ears. That should help It's also way cheaper than the ringworm cream.

  5. Pee in your cats ear 5 times daily.  It help to get your grandma's denchers and also scratch the rash with them right after lunch.

  6. The best thing to do is try to keep your cat away from your two children.

You shouldn't be worried about your cat it won't die from ringworm as long as you put on the ringworm cream as directed.

  7. sounds like a yeast infection.. my cat gets them all the time, just go to a different vet
