HELP! My dog has a weird crush on me!?

Question

It's weird. She always attempts to hump me. Whenever I lay down she lays on my chest and licks my lips like mad. She even attempted to get it on with me once. I have a male dog in the house and she is still infatuated with me. What should I do?

lol all dogs do dat...jus train it not to..ma dog used to do that. hes a rottweiler, but really nice but just wudnt stp humpin...and not just me he humped,strangers,chairs everything! haha so jus everytime it tries to jus really try to be like "no" and tell it to sit and stuff or make it roll on its back (thats a submissive sign) and after a while of yu getting mad and ignoring yur dog for 10 minutes or so she will learn. good luck :P

I saw an issue like this on a dog training show and the trainer said to associate loud and bad noises with bad behaviour. So when your dog tries to hump make a loud clapping noise or something like that then say NO very sternly! Then when she stops pet her and tell her good girl so that she doesn't get scared of you. I hope everything works out!

I have to agree with the others and say this is definately a dominance issue. You need to grab a bag of treats and make your dog work for them to show her that you're the alpha dog and she only does what you tell her to. If this doesn't work just get her spayed and this should stop the problem.

It's nothing sexual.

If your dog is humping, it's probably a dominance issue.  Unfortuantely for you, your dog has just basically told you, "You aren't the boss, you don't tell me what to do...I'm your equal."  l*****g the inside of the mouth is also a dominance issue...so if she's doing that rather than just "kissing," I'd say she's being pretty clear.

Best thing to do would be to stop that nonsense immediately and reestablish yourself as the leader of the house.

Humping is an attempt to display dominance and shouldn't be encouraged.  Interrupt her with a sharp loud noise when you catch her in the act and then ignore her.  Eventually she should stop.

She doesn't love you. She likes you so she gives you kisses and she humps you because of a behavioral problem.
