  1. I would take him to a human hospital if there is no vet open right now.

  2. most of the time vets are 24/7 but it costs more so i would call them to make sher there has to be one somewere

  3. Take him to an emergency vet.  You can find one near your home online.  Is there any way you could help him throw up?  Give him lots of milk or water to drink, but you should look for an emergency vet now.

  4. Hey! ... Atleast its not chocolate!!

  5. CALM DOWN

    TAKE 3 DEEPS BREATHES

HE WILL BE OKAY, JUSY BE PATIENT WITH THE POSION CONTROL OPERATOR

  6. Vet is the best option.  Go as soon as possible.

  7. If you can get to an herb store or GNC health center or even a drug store and ask them if they have charcoal pills.

It might be faster to call first to make sure they have them.

Then get a package of hotdogs and push as many charcoal pills in the hot dogs as you can 20 to 30 pills won't hurt.

Or at least 5 charcoal pills per hot dog. Feed him the hot dogs(not whole cut them at least in half)

This charcoal is what is given in the Emergency Room to overdoses.

It works quite well. The sooner the better. But at least within the first few hours after injestion.

Also giving him raw eggs mixed in milk can help.Hurry with the charcoal. Also you could maybe make him vomit by putting your finger down his throat do it now. Put some butter on two fingers and make him gag and vomit. I know it isnt easy but I have done it to my dog.

If he doesnt vomit the pills up, give him 20-30 charcoal pills in wieners.

If there is tylenol in those allergy pills it will be bad for him. If its just benadryl it wont be as bad.

    Good luck

  8. Get him to a vet hospital immediately! Don't wait. The dosage you just mentioned is enough to kill an adult let alone a child that size. Go Now!

  9. i think he will be OK.

my dog is prescribed benedryl for traveling, and he takes 4 pills.

are they 25 mg?  if so then he'll probably be tired/drowsy, or he could throw up... you can call aspca they have a 24 hr vet line.  but i think he should be fine.

btw- dogs get MORE benedryl than humans per pound.

  10. Don't panic. He should be fine. You really need to make him throw up. Trap your dog in a secure area, such as a bathroom, patio or kitchen to avoid having to chase it and having to clean up vomit from carpet. Ask someone to help you with restraint to make a dog vomit using hydrogen peroxide since the job isn't as easy for one person (unless your dog is small).

Give a small dog only about a capful of hydrogen peroxide. Use the cap of a regular sized bottle of hydrogen peroxide--about a teaspoon full. Administer more--around 2 tablespoons--to a larger dog. Fill a syringe so that you can use it to inject the liquid down into your dog's throat.

Wait patiently and quietly until your dog vomits. Know that it occurs soon after you give it hydrogen peroxide, but it can take up to five minutes. Look for foreign objects in the vomit and make sure your dog has expelled the dangerous items it swallowed. Repeat the procedure if nothing substantial comes up. Realize there may be nothing obvious to see if you are trying to help your dog eliminate a poison.

  11. Emergency vet NOW!

Go online and find the closest emergency vet and drive there now.  You dog will be dead soon if you don't do this.  A 140 lb lab can handle 1 allergy pill - dogs generally shouldn't have human medication and especially not a dog that small.  Please either tell us where you live so we can find you an emergency vet or look it up yourself.

  12. o.o, I'm not sure what to do for animals but i do know for humans you can drink milk to slow down the reaction and eating charcoal will absorb it(charcoal is safe for dogs)

  13. Seems to me he wont because that's 9, that's overdose. call 911 and don't panic!

  14. I think he'll be o.k.  and you might wanna give him alot of milk or some eggs to dilute the chemicals.
