  1. Sounds like death to me. This happened to me yesterday actually. My female dwarf Gourami had been fighting and she had lots of open wounds. The stress coat didn't help and she just died in the end. Sad but there isn't much you can do about it except let them die in peace.

  2. Is it showing any other symptoms?  Open wounds? gasping? swelling? redness? darkening color?  With such little information, it would just be a guessing game, but I would start with a water change and see if it helps-- it certainly won't hurt.

  3. how old is he? it might just be old age , i hope it isn't and he gets better though

  4. My fish was doing the same last week, and I took him to a separate bowl (mini-hospital) with oxygen added some salt and fed him some peas... he is better now and he is back to the aquarium and happy. When I transfer I usually capture the fish with a smal plastic bowl  with lots of water from the aquarium and then I sink it in the new Hospital bowl slowly so you dont traumatize the fish. In that "hospital" bowl I would use spring water that you can buy in the supermarket - I only use spring water in my aquarium and my fish live longer.

  5. hes probably resting or he has swim bladder disease. just cook some peas, peel the peas skins, then mash em, after feed them to the fishes.
