HELP! My mouse's ear is red and swollen...

Question

My lil white mouse has a red and swollen ear. could it be an infection? She is over 2 years old. I put neosporin in her ear to try to help her. I hope she's not in pain. She's running in her wheel like normal.

any first aid advice would be great, or maybe some type of food that can help her?

I'm worried I know mice don't live long, but I love my mousey.

I'm having the same problem with my mouse! He's about a year old, and both of his ears are really red and swollen. It looks like he has a big part of his one ear missing. :[
Have you gotten any other good advice on what to do? I'm making an appointment for the vet, but I want to take care of him before then also. I don't want him to be in pain.
