thats a list of great doo w*p hits  its also a great source!

  2. Here are some web sites that I googled. I grew up listening to 50's and 60's because it's my dad's era. I love the music, and it's fun to dance to! You may also want to add in big band era groups too since they would have grown up listening to that.

  5. Elvis was popular

    Doo w*p was big

The Korean war was coming to an end - but many of

the servicemen coming home were used to hearing the

Andrews sisters, the McGuire sisters and Glenn Miller

    from before they went in.

These are all very good "listening" and nice for dining.

Otherwise, contact a local radio station, they can give

you a list by period, genre and popular tunes of that time.

    Have fun

  6. Jo Stafford, "You Belong to Me"

    Kay Starr, "Wheel of Fortune"

and random Tom Jones songs are what my mom played at my grandparents' 50th. Have fun!
