Are regular alkaline batteries prohibited in your carry on? I've been on the TSA and I cannot locate it?

  1. i don't know about you but I wouldn't risk it. Nowadays anything you do, say, or have is a "potential security threat", so when you get off from where ever it is you're going just buy batteries there

  2. They are allowed. You should have whatever they fit with you, too.

  3. They're fine to carry on.  I travel all the time and often have my digital camera and spare batteries in my carry-on.

  4. yes

  5. I would check to see if I really packed the battery's! You may have forgot to pack them!

  6. Hi,

No they're not. I suppose you mean the AA size and similars, right ?

When I travelled to Paris, I took my camera into the plane and it can take alkaline batteries (although I used rechargable ones that are NiCd (?) ).

From your photo it seems that you're recently married and probably going on a honeymoon trip ?

If you're going abroad (or even within your country), don't forget to check the available transport passes and museum passes that will give you discounts and other benefits.

    Good luck.

    Kind regards,
