  1. We'll know for sure when it's born!

You can ask the tech again at your 18w u/s.  Things will be bigger then.

  2. Ultrasounds aren't 100% accurate regardless of whether the tech was licensed or not. My good girlfriend was told twice that she was having a girl...and had a boy.

At any rate....anything sooner than 20 weeks isn't considered accurate...and "girl" predictions are only 80% accurate. BUT consider one thing...most u/s techs do 100 of these things a week...they've seen too many to be real inaccurate. You can have another u/s....I would suggest going around 30-34 weeks and go for a 3D one. They are more accurate....but the most accurate way is to check between the legs when the baby is born...

Good luck. And no matter what the s*x is...you should just be happy that the baby is healthy and growing right.

  3. Sorry pic is too small to see anything.

  4. I can't tell either. Too small. What did they tell you??? They told me both of mine were boys and they were right! Think if they say boy, its def a boy. But if they say girl, it could be a boy.

  5. How far along are you?

I looked at the photos and it was hard to see, but if that was done at 9 weeks then I am pretty sure that it's too soon to tell.  :-(

If I were to guess I'd say a boy since my girls didn't look like that.

  6. i have had a boy and a girl and there is distinct white "stripes" in between a girls legs and a little turtle with the "head" popping out for a boy.  the 20 wk ultrasound is the best for visual but i found out for my daughter at 13 wks.

  7. well your only 14.5 weeks anyway too soon to tell, usually they tell you around 18-20 weeks, and what the h**l is someone who is unlicensed doing ultrasounds for?

  8. Sorry that pic is way too tiny to see.  It looks like maybe a boy but thats just a guess.

  9. I really can't see anything one way or the other from that tiny picture and that lack of detail.

But if you had your scan done at 14 weeks, it's pretty early to have an accurate gender reading, since the genitalia of male and female fetuses are pretty much analogous to one another at this point.

I wouldn't trust any predictions about gender at this early in the pregnancy.

  10. well 3 lines is a girl and if it is a boy you typically see the sac or the pee pee....so you look real close and see if you can see 3 lines that is the only way since the pic is so small... and if you arent 20 weeks yet it may look like a girl but be a boy bc sometimes it takes that long to be able to see the boy parts!!!

  11. hi, ive looked at the pics and i can't work out to well what you are carrying. i would just wait till your 19 weeks and get another one done and that should be able to tell you the truth. i did that because the told me at 14 weeks i was having a girl, i got checked at 19 weeks, 32 weeks and 28 weeks and i was carrying a boy and i gave birth to a boy. good luck and congrats.

p.s. just a guess i think it looks like a girl and she is cute.

  12. its to small i can't tell

  13. to me it looks like a girl but the picture was so small it was hard to tell. I think I saw a little hamburger. it looked kind of like what my ultrasound looked like from my last daughter, like two little lines which was the vaginal lips. but unless I saw the ultrasound picture bigger I couldn't be for sure. what did she say it was?

With this pregnancy I had my scan done at 19 weeks and we clearly saw a p***s. I even have the picture, it's as clear as day that there is a p***s between his legs. With my last pregnancies which were both girls there was what appeared to be a cheeseburger, three lines.

  14. it is hard to see but it looks like a girl to me

  15. If this is your 9 week picture, you are not going to be able to "officially" tell yet.

You have to wait until you are at least 20 weeks along.

  16. You can't tell until at least about 20 weeks (because a boy's testicles won't drop and be visible much before then). Even then, a licensed tech may get it wrong, too. When you go for your 20 week sonogram, make sure to ask the tech how certain he/she is that they've determined the gender correctly. However, don't expect them to say anything more than about 90% - there's always a chance, right?

  17. Its a super small pic but I would say its a girl.
