OK..SO LAST YEAR WE CAUGHT AROUND SIX MICE...gross i know.. but last year we'd see the mice around the house..

this year however, the mice/rat?!?!? stay in the cupboard under the stairs and they p**s ( a problem we've not had before) everywhere and most recently my mum noticed white droppings amongst the black. we have rice stored in bins but they are sealed with sellotape on the lid and the mice still get in!! dont know how? some of the bins we have the lids closed, and weight on the lid. HOW THESE RODENTS ARE GETTIN IN WE DONT KNOW.theres no holes in the bins. the things arent knocked over or anything. we are clean people. why oh why this happening? we've cleaned out the store room TWICE.. and by cleaned out i mean wiped and washed every single tin or can and everything! we've had to chuck away like 15kg of rice and lots of flour.

we have plugs they don't work. and no they are not cheap ones. we've used glue traps, thats how we caught FOUR on two traps last year, and not gonna use poison. this time we have the glue trps.. but there is droppings ON the trap and no effin rodent. HELP PLEASE PLEASE!

our neighbours have moved out a year ago, both sides. my dad thinks its cuz those houses are empty WE'RE getting the mice. either way.. i want them OUT

AND WHAT ARE THE WHITE DROPPINGS.

ps. i saw a mouse and i'm a mouse phobic my throat is sore cuz i screamed so much. i have panic attacks at times too.

please helpppp, i dont care if its not humane i just want the buggers DEAD and gone.

  1. U like a story mate, set some traps n Boosh.

  2. get a normal biro/pen, and if you can find a hole that it will fit through, a mouse can get in. they have probably gnawed into the bins from the bottom or somewhere.

get a few traps. or if your not up to killing them, get some humane traps which will catch them alive. and put them were they frequently move around with bait and you'll soon be rid of them.

but they will be back, you will have to go around your house and block off all the holes you can see. and i mean all holes! except for drains. lol

to block them off, get some scouring pads/wire wool, and stuff as much as you can get into the holes. mice will not be able to gnaw through it because the metal splinters and will poke them in the mouth.

  3. maybe try posting your question under a different category than pets!!

  4. Get some cute litle white lab mice, as a pet,

  5. mice can get in through the smallest gaps between doors external or internal. If you can get a normal sized pencil through a gap then a mouse can get in and out of the same gap, its all to do with there skeletal system. check for cables that have been knawed at or teeth marks on wood they do this to keep there teeth short as there teeth keep growing. Try using mouse traps with some caramel chocolate on it for some reason they love the stuff. and call your local council pest controller they will sort the problem out and tell you how to keep the problem away, might cost for the service but its worth it if you want the problem gone.

  6. Contact a professional pest controller. They will be able to see where the mice are coming from and hopefully prevent them from returning. If they are coming in from next door they will also be able to contact the council and get something done about that too!
