HELP PLEASE: Why does a person who has lost blodd feel cold and clammy?

  1. basic physiology:  blood, along with supplying oxygen, is also responsible for warming the body.... its why you get frostbite if subjected to extreme cold:  blood is drawn away from the non-survival-essential extremities/fingers/toes and kept near your heart/vital organs... and as a result your extremities get colder adn eventually freeze.
