  1. embry riddle!

  2. Honestly, if you want to be the most kick butt pilot ever, join the MARINES! (they have their own airforce)

Or like the commenter above, you could join the Airforce, also known as the wimps cause you really are treaty all cushy and nice.

I would personally Reccomend Embry-Riddle. Although, you dont necessarily need to attend college to be a pilot. there are plenty of open windows out there to join "learn to fly" classes. it will take alot of work, trust me, I am around aviation talk all the time, there are quite a few tests you must go through to get your commercial pilots license, but I am sure if you are determined you can get there.

Hey, and while your at it you should check out helicopters. Trust me, helicopters are kick butt. I rode in quite a few, and I like it far more than airplanes.

  3. The Best school is the Air Force!

  4. It's never too late, but make sure your finances are in order as it will not be cheap.

Check out the resources here first and then you will be able to ask the sales people intelligent questions about their courses and curriculum:  http://www.faa.gov/pilots/training/
