  4. You can try this,

Important Note: Although it is possible to manually remove Antivirus 2009, such activity can permanently damage your system if any mistakes are made in the process.

    Remove these Antivirus 2009 processes:

    av2009.exe

  5. if u know the exact name of the program, it s going to be easy just follow. i think u dont know how to uninstall the antivirus2009 thingy from your computer

there r 2 ways to get rid of it

    1. click start->control panel-> add/remove programs and click the name that causes the troubles and click the change/remove button, it will uninstall the program

---but sometimes the remove button doesn't function in control panel. in that case follow this 2nd option

    2. google 'ccleaner' and download it. i bet it is free and u dont have to pay for it. they might ask your email address but u may ignore it and continue to proceed. Once it's downloaded on your computer setup and install it. and then run the ccleaner and choose the tools option 3rd on the left. and there will be the list of programs under the 'uninstall' section, choose the program u want to remove and click the 'uninstall' button on the left.

i hope this is what u're looking for.

  6. if you want a really free anti-virus, you must use ClamWIn.

ClamWin is a Free Antivirus for Microsoft Windows NT/98/Me/2000/XP/2003.

It provides a graphical user interface to the Clam AntiVirus scanning engine.

ClamWin Free Antivirus uses the GNU General Public License by the Free Software

Foundation and is free (as in freedom) software. ClamWin Free Antivirus comes

with an easy installer and open source code at no cost. It features: Scanning Scheduler,

    Automatic Virus Database Updates

Use another PC to download Clamwin portable anti-virus and install Clamwin portable on a USB thumb drive.

    How to configure

    http://support.real-time.com/open-source...

    Update the anti-virus definition files.

Set the preference to delete virus or move virus to a quarantine folder

Boot up in safe mode on infected PC

Disable system restore on your infected PC if possible

Use the USB drive with Clamwin Anti-virus installed to scan your infected PC.

First scan your USB thumb drive and memory for virus.

Later scan all your hard drives for viruses.

  7. http://fix-computer-problem.com/rogue-an...

    try manual removal instructions

  8. Relax, I have the solution for you, I think. Buy Defender Pro 5 in 1 it will wipe off all the viruses and spyware you may have on your computer, and it will get rid of all the free anti viruses pop ups. Free software will not remove anything until you buy the full version, so just go with defender pro I use it on my laptop and the firewall keeps it away from unwanted software.....

  9. You can do a system restore that will send your computer back to a previous restore point (could be a week, or a month back, depending on when your computer sets the points) before the virus came.  You'll lose whatever files you had added after that point (so save on a usb drive), but that will include the virus being erased.

  10. I had the same problem as you, yesterday, and I ended up having to reformat my computer because none of my antivirus could ind the virus.

So I suggest you to reformat your computer, instead of waisting your time.
