I was outside hunting for ferrets"barefoot" and i steped in a hole. I felt a really sharp pain in my foot and when i came back inside, half of my leg was purple, well its black now and it seems 2 be spreading. I dont wanna got 2 the doctor, cause i mean who likes going 2 the doctor. Im pretty sure it will go away.I cant feel anything so it must not be that bad. What do you think it was that bit me?

  1. It sounds to me like you may have encountered a snake of the worst kind...with plenty of venom.

My sincere advice is to get to the emergency room post haste.  The lack of sensation in your lower limb is indicative of the venom already attacking your nerve system.  This is definitely not good.

If it is not a venomous creature that bit you, no harm done...it it is, you'll receive the necessary treatment to prevent major damage to your body (maybe even lethality).

    Good luck and hurry, please!

  2. You need to get to the emergency room NOW.  Its black, spreading, and you cant feel anything.  You may have lost that leg.  Thats why you need to get to the hospital NOW.

  3. Who cares what bit you... go to the doctor... Honestly... Who comes on this thing and says that their legs turned black while running with ferrets? You don't run with ferrets anyways, they are too slow... Unless you are a little person. Anyways, this is either made up or your an idiot that deserves whatever you get for not going to a doctor right away.

  4. you're in trouble.

If the leg was black and numb when you were writing that it's got some serious necrosis in it.

That means it's probably at the point where it needs to be amputated.

And if it's indeed venom (most likely) it's going to spread like wildfire, destroying every organ in your body in turn.

You don't feel anything because the nerves are already destroyed in the dead tissue, so there's nothing left to send signals to the brain indicating that you're in trouble.

In fact depending on how long you've idiotically avoided medical attention it may already be too late for you.

That's Darwin at work, evolution removing another sucker from the genepool.

  5. well come talk to me when you lose your foot, or when you're six feet under.

Also, it was probably a snake of some sorts. Venomous. And the fact that you can not feel anything probably means it's neurological. In other words you won't feel any pain but you will definetly die.

  6. GO TO THE DOCTOR OR YOU COULD LOSE YOUR LEG AND YOUR LIFE!!!

  7. yeahh, good luck with not going to the doctor...

  8. Go to a doctor, for crying out loud!

Why on earth would you trust a bunch of strangers online with something that could cost you your leg or worse.

    Sheesh!

  9. Call 911 (in the US) and go the the emergency room, some venom destroys tissue very quickly, each snakes venom attacks it's victims differently - AFTER you go to the emergency room you should look to see what poisonous snakes are in your area...

Pain isn't the only problem - when you can't feel something - it's also referred to as numbness.

       CALL 911 NOW....

  10. GO TO THE ******* DOCTORS, YOU COULD LOSE YOUR LEG.
