HELP!! POST OFFICE QUESTION!

Question

i'm expecting a check in the mail tomorrow, and i desperately need to deposit it into my account at the bank.

PROBLEM: our mail doesnt get here until 2pm. the bank closes at noon on saturdays!

QUESTION: is there a way to call the post office and have them hold your mail for you so you can pick it up sooner than you would get it by the carrier?

Not if you wanted to pick it up ealier tomorrow.  You are just going to have to deposit the check via the night deposit or ATM and wait till Monday for it to post your account.

Call and tell them you need to have them hold your mail because you're going out of town for whole month. Ask them how soon they can start holding your mail. If it's your lucky day, go in there before noon, pick up your mail, and tell them there was a change of plans and you're not going to be out of town anymore.

i think you could. just call you local post office and they should hold it for you. some postal service are really nice like that.
