HELP! People from Perth, Western Aus! Directions for train from Belmont?

Hey

I am travelling to Perth next week for the Micheal Buble concert and I am meeting friends in the city the next day.

Only I am from a small town and have no idea how trains, etc work. We are staying in Belont, at the Bel Ayre. How far away is the train station and how do I get there? Do I just catch a taxi to the train station from th? Or just a taxi into the city?

Hello, I live in Belmont so i know the place pretty well.

Right out front of where your staying there is a bus-stop, to which you can just hail a bus and ask for a two section adult ticket...should be about $1.50 or $2.00 and just sit at the front and tell the bus driver your not from around here and ask him if he can stop at the bus stop closest to Burswood Train Station then just hope on the train (no need to buy another train ticket as your bus ticket will still be vaild but DON'T THROW IT AWAY. You'll need it to exit Perth train Station.)

Or take a taxi as the person before me suggested.

There is no train stations in Belmont. The nearest one is Burswood..

Go onto Great Eastern Highway out the front of the hotel and catch a bus, probably a No 36 that will take you into the city or get off early at Burswood and then walk to the train station.

Belmont is fairly close to the city so if you can afford it I would suggest just catching a taxi straight to the city. Otherwise google transperth and it will bring up the public transport website. Im from north of the river and dont know the Belmont area very well so cant give you exact buses and trains sorry!
