I want to go to a private school so much. i have been to public school for 7 years and now I am in homeschool. I found out in 6th grade that public school really sucks. I live in Florida so, I want to find a boarding/private school here. Boarding school can be anywhere but, a private school has to be kissimmee/st.cloud area. I also need the school to offer financial aid. Also, if you know any private/boarding schools in Pennsylvania that offer financial aid (NOT NEAR PHILADELPHIA OR HERSHEY.) I might move to PA so......

  2. Wyoming Seminary in Pennsylvania

  3. There are 3 schools in Florida that fit your criterion (non-denominational): Admiral Farragut Academy (which is a military-prep academy in St. Petersburg), The Bolles School in Jacksonville, and Florida Air Academy (also a military-prep school). There are only 2 other boarding schools in Florida (which are denominational): Montverde Academy in Montverde and St. Andrew's in Boca Raton. So not a lot of choices. Each school's financial aid policy will vary, you will need to look this up by going to the school's website and looking under "Admissions" where there will be information on tuition and financial aid.

In Pennsylvania, you have more choices. Grier, Hill, Kiski, Linden Hall (all girls), Mercersburg, Perkiomen, Phelps, Solebury, and Wyoming Seminary (in Kingston, PA). The Hill School is the most prestigious and academic of all of them. Boarding School Review is a great search tool, look up the boarding schools you want to go to and you will be provided with a great deal of information, including student reviews. http://www.boardingschoolreview.com/

    Best of luck.
