Ok i just got bunnies a few months ago and they were babies when we got them....they were too small to tell which was a female or male... i went out to their cage today and their were four babies. 3 of them were dead but one of them somehow fell out of the cage and survived. I think its good that it fell out of the cage because i think the bigger bunnies killed the other ones by stepping on them with their claws..

what do i do with the survived bunny??????????????/

do i seperate the baby and the mom from the male or what do i do???

  1. seperate the two adults and put the baby with the mom

  2. Take the male out of the cage and expect a second litter in a month- the male rebreeds the female IMMEDIATELY at birth.  You need to provide mom and baby a nesting box that is appropriately bedded.  Look here: http://www.rabbit.org/care/babies.html for all the info you should need to make sure mom and babies are happy and healthy.  When she's done raising babies, have her spayed, please.

  3. Consult a vet. After that and after the surviving baby gets old enough, separate all males and females so this doesn't happen again

  4. If the other ones were dead, but this one was alive, you can guess that the parents killed the babies. You need to keep them away from each other, however that's also not good, because the babies need to be nursed.

I'd try to put them in with the mother for now. If they die, there's nothing you can do about it.. but they need to be nursed by their mother. Hopefully the mother can do the right thing for the surviver!

  5. yes seperate the baby from the mom get a blinket and get some baby bunnie formula at pet smart
