  1. I really don't like swimming in the ocean either. I don't like fish, or anything that will touch my feet at the bottom, where i walk. Try using water shoes, if you have the same problem. Seaweed, is just a grass of the sea, no need to be scared of that. Wait until Jelly Fish season is over, which is in November. That might be a while to wait, or just go when it is low tide, then you can see if there are any Jelly fish in the water. Go on line to look at a tide chart, or look in your local paper. :) ~ Ariel ~ P.s: I hope i helped.

  2. You might want to find a different beach or part of that one. I heard that pantyhose keeps the jelly fish from stinging too. I'm not sure if it actually works though.

  3. I don't blame you. I refuse to swim in the ocean. I also don't blame you about the seaweed and no telling what might be lurking in that. Just best to enjoy the water by wearing water shoes and also not actually swimming in it. I wouldn't trust an jellyfish.

  4. don't worry about the jellyfish.

Just play in the tidal pools.

    They aren't washed up everyday.

  5. VOTE FOR MCCAIN

  6. Ask the lifegaurd at the beach if people have been stung by these jellyfish, and if he thinks it's going to be a problem. If people have been harmed by them, go to a different beach if you're able, or wait a little and come back later; they can't stay there forever, right?

And as for the seaweed, I don't blame you for not wanting to touch it, it's kind of gross... But it's not going to hurt you. Talk to a counselor or something if you get too freaked out.

  7. There's nothing wrong with you - I'm scared crapless of jellyfish and I never go into the ocean anymore, and I am a normal, well adjusted person that pays his taxes and helps people less fortunate them himself.

  8. Try wearing a wetsuit and some booties, this will protect you.

There are also Jellyfish seasons, so you can find out when they are least likely to be out there.

  9. dont worry about the clear ones they are dead if you see a blue one run like h**l

  10. stay out of the ocean use public pools lol

  11. go to north carolina. (:

  12. discontinue swiming in the ocean

just play in the sand instead

  13. Your best bet is swim in a swimming pool.

  14. the clear ones are harmless im pretty sure. in washington they were around at the beach all the time. as for the seaweed try to find a clear spot to swim in

    rock on soul sista

  15. the clear small ones wont sting you. but the big yucky red ones will. just stay away from them, they are easy to notice. a few times i have been scared to go in water with jellyfish but i went in and it was fine
